I would like to thank the committee of South West Whippet Club for inviting me to judge the two Special Awards Classes,

I had two classes of top quality Whippets to go over, and I would like to thank the exhibitors for the lovely entry and I’m sorry I couldn’t place you all.


Class A Yearling D/B 10

1st Davies’s Collooney Black Velvet Pasharif , A very pleasing 16 month old black bitch good for size and type, pretty head Long elegant neck going into nice laid shoulders, nice length of loin with good hind quarters moved with elegance and drive in tip top condition.

2nd Neal’s Runaround Starman at Stormalong JW

Fawn dog with a lovely head and kind expression, nicely constructed body with correct angulation front and rear moved well.

3rd Glasspool & Manners Penbrair Dark Secret at Mannerpool.

1st Morris , Waddell & Mycroft‘s Crosscop Let It Shine For Supeta JW Fawn bitch of outstanding quality with bone and feminine substance, lovely rose shaped ears dark eyes with the sweetest of heads, with a long neck laid into correct shoulders, lovely curves and top line that she keeps on the move, in tip top condition and handled to show off all her qualities.

2nd Tope’s Ch Falconcrag Class Act For Dewerstone JW

Fawn dog again full of quality good head with a kind expression, long neck with correct laid shoulders with good return of upper arm, good depth of chest with good length of loin and a lovely top line kept on the move with drive and no exaggeration, only lost top spot due to 1st stealing my heart.

3rd Shepherd’s Citycroft Sundae With Oxana JW
